The Wheat Shot Juice Bar

Francisco was asked to generate a unique set of studies for the design of a 200 sf  juice Bar at a New York Health and racquet club on Long Island.  The independent investors for the project are fitness experts at the club and so the concept for the juice bar needed a strong connection to nutrition and the body.  The juice bar is meant to serve as a hub to stimulate conversation about fitness and nutrition, while enjoying a healthy snack before and after a workout. The three tectonic strategies developed for the project are skin, mass and skeleton which have significance both architecturally and as a reference back to the human body as it relates to the gym.   These concepts merged to one in the proposal  shown.
