Office Sign for Notaro Grupp Associates

Challenged with the traditional methodologies of design and construction in a suburban architectural office, the Notaro Grupp sign sought a demonstrative approach to progressive construction techniques.  Using the computer as a design tool, a rapid prototyping approach was implemented to aid in streamlining the design and cost of the sign.  When the final design was selected, each part was tagged and digitally nested onto 4’x8’ sheets of plywood and the Auto CAD files were sent to a CNC wood shop to be cut out.  The final pieces were assembled in one afternoon.
